Mental Health Coverage

If you are enrolled in our group extended health & dental benefits, you may have coverage for mental health practitioner services under your plan.

Eligible mental health practitioners: Psychologist, Social Worker, Counselling Therapist, Psychoeducator, and Psychotherapist.

Eligible medical expenses (including expenses for mental health practitioner services) can be claimed to your Health Spending Account (HSA), depending on your available account balance.

You may wish to use your HSA for expenses due to exhausting your annual coverage maximum, out-of-pocket co-payment amounts, or not having coverage under the benefits plan level you are enrolled in (i.e. level 1).
